Fall into Fitness this September

National Fitness Day is the biggest annual celebration of fitness and physical activity across the UK, and this year will see 3-1-5 Health Club host once again one of the biggest events in partnership with UKActive.

UKActive is the leading not-for-profit health body whose aim is to champion the fun and enjoyment that physical activity can bring to all the family.

In 2018, 12,000 people took part in over 2,000 events organised across the country. 600 people participated in an activity right here at 3-1-5 Health Club.

National Fitness Day is on Wednesday 25th September. 3-1-5 Health club will be running a full day of studio classes, taster sessions, gym challenges throughout the day to encourage more people to get more active, more often. Click HERE to find out our full programme of events for the day!

In addition to this, we are planning a Wellbeing Festival to celebrate National Fitness Day at the club.

An array of local support networks and care service providers on the day will bring awareness and understanding to the variety of Health Care Providers in our area. Each will provide a platform to reach new audiences to promote a range of activities. All with an aimg to help the community lead healthier, more active lives.

Strictly Come Dancing star Ashley Roberts and DJ Locksmith from dance music group Rudimental have been added to the long list of high-profile supporters of this year’s National Fitness Day. The pair join a line up which already includes legendary ballerina Dame Darcey Bussell and Paralympic champion Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson all who are passionate about Fitness.

Taking place on 25 September, National Fitness Day is held annually and celebrates the benefits of physical activity for health, happiness and wellbeing. The event is coordinated by health body ukactive and supported by AXA PPP healthcare.
