National Fitness Day is a chance to highlight the role physical activity plays across the UK, helping us raise awareness of its importance in helping us lead healthier and active lifestyles.

At 3-1-5 we ensure we celebrate UK active National Fitness Day every year!

First of all, EVERYBODY was invited to join us on Wednesday 26th September for this years National Fitness Day.  We encouraged more people, more active, more often.

And, we did it in Style!

In a nutshell, we opened our doors to the local community and gave those who are inactive a chance to get more active, more often!

What was included?

In addition to FREE Classes and fitness taster sessions we had many activities for this years celebration.

One of the biggest events was a 5k charity race hosted by Lancaster Race Series.

All profits were donated to Cancercare.

All finishers received a unique blingy medal!

Furthermore, we hosted a ‘Festival of well-being’ which was attended by local organisations. These included Cancer Care, Blood screening, OMM, Crystal Clear Health & Beauty, Cardiothoracic nurses, St. Johns HospiceLancaster Race Series and  Top Dog EventsAdditionally, people signed up for activities including our 8 week challenge, trekking in Katmandu and Lancaster Race Series all year round races!

On offer were taster sports massages and beauty treatments. Consequently, savings and member discounts were taken advantage of. One day only sales included discounted swimming lessons, MYZONE belts and Christmas Ball tickets.

Above all else and to finish the most active day of the year, we were honoured to present some outstanding improvement and recognition awards to many of our members.

Presentations included the winners of the MYZONE Summer Sizzler challenge, the 2nd annual Academy 8 Week Weight Loss challenge and our coveted Members of the Year.

  • From the very young…
    To the young at heart….
    And to the conditioned exerciser….
    Effort was rewarded!

In conclusion, this really was a day not to be missed and we really hoped you enjoyed it!
