The new normal

In this ‘new normal’ we will have friendliness, cleanliness, safety and enjoyment at the forefront of what we do:

o Everyone gets screened on each visit and making sure everyone has a valid Health Commitment Statement

o We wash our hands & sanitise regularly

o We avoid congregating in groups

o We wipe down equipment after each use

o We abide by social distancing guidelines

o Please enjoy your visit safely, and with respect & consideration for other users

o Thank you for using the Club safely and enjoy a great workout.

Member Updates and Safety

Over the last few days we have been inundated with queries from current members, lots of you are so keen to return! We are working through and answering them all so please do bear with us, but we have put together some key information below to try and answer a few of the more common questions.

We have put together an extensive programme for success to ensure usage throughout the Club is controlled to maximise member safety & enjoyment.

3-1-5 will be reopening with the same hours as previously – Mon-Fri 6am-10pm and Sat, Sun & Bank Holidays 8am-8pm.

To avoid congestion around reception we ask if you can please book your classes and lane swimming sessions via our member app, FitSense. Alternatively, if you don’t have a smart phone please click the link below to our desktop members area: Members Area

As part of our programming we have plenty of classes running, all operating at 50% capacity to ensure distancing can take place, then on top of those members booked into classes/lane swimming (where numbers can be checked) we shall have a capacity of a further 80 people in the Club. This will be monitored by staff at reception and once capacity is reached we shall operate a one in/one out policy. You can view the total number of members who have accessed the club in the previous hour via FitSense, this should allow you to avoid peak times where possible.

Please remember your visit to the Club will be capped at a maximum of 2 hours, and this will be monitored by Parking Eye, this is simply to be courteous and allow all members the time to enjoy a workout.

To enjoy a swim when you return to the Club, you will need to book a ‘Lane Swimming’ session via FitSense or our online members area (see link above). The main pool will have 3 lanes and each lane can have up to 8 swimmers. Where possible the lanes will be separated according to speed. Times for family swimming can also be viewed on FitSense, and each adult can book in 2 children on their own app (all those swimming must have a full Club membership). The pool and shower areas will be out of use for members during Stingrays Swim School lessons, and you can view these times on the 3-1-5 Members Code of Practice (see link below).

Whilst the changing rooms are open for use again with limited capacity, where possible please arrive changed and gym/swim ready and shower at home.

Our full member Code of Practice can be read here:

3-1-5 Health Club Member Code of Practice

Also please keep an eye on your emails as we will be releasing a walk through video over the next day or two to show you our Club.

3-1-5 are now part of Fit4Access. It’s a new online platform to help provide greater safety and reassurance to everyone in our centre.

Before you come back, we’d like you to complete an online health check through Fit4Access, it only takes a few minutes but it’s to ensure the safety of you and everybody else who comes back into our centre. We’ll be sending out further information on this tomorrow.

Lets help You Shape Your Body!

We’re always looking at ways we can help you get the best results and help you reach your health and fitness goals, and as part of our reopening we have some great offers on small group training and personal training!

News from Our 3-1-5 Partners

At 3-1-5 we have a number of other businesses operating alongside us. FiKa Hair and Crystal Clear Health & Beauty are now open and operating under their industry guidelines while OMM, Harris Physio and Bio-Med are open by appointment only. Contact them directly for more information!

Replenish Kitchen are also getting ready for their relaunch with fab new branding which is fresh and exciting, just like the food!

Replenish Kitchen’s owner Tom said: “The biggest change for us is that we now ha our own app, available to download to in the App Store and android. It will allow people to order takeout food to collect at a time that suits after their workout. All of our delicious food, smoothies and meal preps feature. We’ll also be launching loyalty points scheme for everything purchased on the app and running exclusive competitions through there”

Our opening times are the same as right before lockdown:

Monday-Friday 8am-6pm

Saturday-Sunday 9am-2pm

We will be operating a one way system around the cafe. The entrance will be by the pool entrance near the gents change room (a sanitisation point will be here) a walkway has been marked to the bar. Orders will be taken at distance and the collection point will be on the far side as you exit the club. (All signposted)

We’re still very much available to sit in, and everything will be sanitised before and after use.

Initially we will be serving everything in takeaway boxes and cups so there is no cross contamination risk, and all the team will wear facemasks when on shift”.

And In Summary…

The health club sector is exceptionally well-set to help support the fight against Covid-19, and 3-1-5 is absolutely best placed to do so.   At 3-1-5 we are fortunate to enjoy a super scale facility that enables a great deal of variety, space and social connection, giving us the opportunity to reopen safely. We have a great team eagerly awaiting your return as well as the opportunity to provide you all the well needed additional motivating factors needed to keep everyone physically and mentally resilient in a safe clean and relaxing club.

We can’t wait for Saturday! See you all soon.
