Empowering women to be active is top of the activity agenda and rightly so.
However, the leisure industry’s work doesn’t start when people walk through the doors of a leisure centre. Superb studios, state-of-the-art gyms, dynamic PTs and instructors, Olympic sized pools and swish cafés all add to the overall experience – however the biggest challenge our sector faces getting people through the door first to see the delights and variety of facilities, programme and activities available and enjoy it.
The Great British Week of Sport is designed to inspire, encourage and give insight to the joys of what 3-1-5 Health Club and the wider industry has to offer.
Have you ever sat and home and wondered what it was like or indeed would like to get started but never got round to joining or felt shy and intimidated?
– are you sat at home without the confidence, knowledge or motivation to step foot inside?
The Great British Week of Sport is an insight into the support programmes we have on offer to break down barriers to fitness and to empower you to be active.
We have a range of programmes ideally suited for women who are juggling busy lifestyles and young families, eager to introduce fitness into your daily routine.
If you are still not able to commit to joining a health club then why not try 3-1-5 online or other great platforms like Les Mills and enjoy an inspirational digital platform for working out at home.
We are launching 3-1-5 online very soon to our members as well as subscribers using our at-home programmes when starting or returning to exercise. Whilst others like to supplement their club membership programme with home workouts when life gets in the way of getting to a class.
Research shows that 85 percent of all gym users are also doing home-based exercises and we hope 3-1-5 online will run hand-in-hand with in-club offerings.
3-1-5 has been designed to encourage women into exercise from the comfort of their home and then encourage them to step up and step into their local leisure centre to engage in the full group exercise experience, gym and swim options then that is a job well done.
3-1-5 online has been designed with tailored programmes including shorter beginner tutorials designed to reduce common barriers to exercise that women face, including feeling intimidated, lack of time and low confidence in their fitness abilities.
Having built confidence at home, and then the confidence to then take the next step visit either 3-1-5 or other great facilities that serve our community and opportunity to fully engage with the superb support and services that we operators strive so hard to deliver.
3-1-5 Ladies day is a perfect opportunity to visit the club review our programming and to try out our classes
