What is Seasonal Vinyasa?

Seasonal Vinyasa is a form of yoga that changes its emphasis according to the seasons. Spring time is a time to mobilise and detox, to shake of the lethargy of winter

Summer is a time for deeper stretching.  With warmer weather the muscles of the body are more receptive to long deep stretch

Lat summer is an extra season.  A season of transition between summer and autumn.  Often we feel restless at this time of year as the long autumn and winter approaches,  so we work with balancing the mind, body and breath

Autumn is a time to work deeply with the breath as we strengthen the lungs and their associated muscles to prepare for all those nasty bugs of winter months

Winter a time for conserving energy. The immune system is often under threat this time of year so we need to ensure we don’t put it under extra strain whilst maintaining both strength and mobility
