Mental Health Awareness Week
Find Your Moments For Movement
We’re proud to support the Mental Health Foundation this Mental Health Awareness Week – 12th to 18th May. Everyone can join in and help to create a world with good mental health for all. This year’s theme is movement: moving more for our mental health.
Get moving more for your mental health by finding daily movement moments.

When life’s busy, finding time for wellbeing-boosting activities can be tricky. But finding moments for movement might be easier than you think. Parking the car a little further away from the shops, hopping off the bus a stop early, or even doing a few squats whilst the kettle is boiling. These moments will add up!

Choose To Celebrate Your Mental Health
So for Mental Health Awareness Week, we are not only celebrating our birthday but also supporting the Mental Health Foundation with the following extra events:
- May is National Walking Month and we’ve got the perfect challenge! Walk This May – a Myzone challenge where only grey and blue MEPS count. Perfect for outdoor walks, gentle movement, and mindful activity.
- A full weekend of activities for our 12th birthday, including FREE classes, tasters, swims and…
- Lancaster Race Series, 10k, 5k and family fun run –Sunday 18th May. Book here.
