We are Back!

We hope you are well and have managed to keep active and healthy over the last couple of months! It has been an incredibly testing time for many, winter has certainly made this lockdown so much more difficult.  But, we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and we are so looking forward to our reopening on Monday 12th April!

As with our previous reopenings, we must reiterate, that returning to the Club will come with a number of restrictions and procedures which all members must follow. We are closely monitoring and following all guidance from UK Active, Swim England, England Squash and PHE. To help keep all of our members, staff and guests safe, we ask you to have a read of our Code of Practice on this link…

Members Coronavirus Code of Conduct

Much of the guidance remains the same as last year, however there are a few differences so we ask you to please have a thorough read. We have highlighted the key points below:

Saunas and Steam Rooms

The government guidance states that our saunas and steam rooms must remain closed for now, however we hope that we will be able to bring them back in use from Monday 17th May.

Face Masks

Face masks must be worn in indoor areas whilst you are not exercising, unless you are exempt.

Indoor Group Exercise Classes

We are really pleased to announce that after many weeks of discussions with local MPs, Lancaster City Council and our environmental health office we have been authorised to offer indoor classes to our members with limiting physical or mental conditions.

If you have a long-term medical condition, either physical or mental, and believe that indoor group exercise classes would be of benefit to you, then please complete our Medical Exemption form below and we will then provide you with the rights to access an even wider range of classes inside the club. These will be bookable as usual through your FitSense app.

Medical Exemption Survey

3-1-5 is continuing to be part of UKActive’s Fit4Access Scheme, this ensures all members entering the Club are safe to do so. Please click the appropriate link below to apply for or renew your pass if have previously registered for one.

Membership Fees

At the start of our closure, we contacted all pre-paid members to advise what would be happening with your membership, however if you missed this, please be assured you will not miss out on any time. All pre-paid memberships have been extended by the same amount of time we have been closed, and therefore your expiry date has been put back. As usual we will contact you by email and phone call when the time comes to renew, to advise on the best renewal rate for you.

We understand that, for many of you, our reopening means a very welcome return to some level of normality. However we also understand that the Covid-19 situation is still very much a part of our daily lives and you may feel that returning to the Club is not right for you just yet. As always you do have the option of freezing your membership for up to a maximum of six months per year (not including our closures), and if you would like to take this up please email your request to [email protected], including how long you would like to continue freezing for.

We really hope you are looking forward to reigniting your fitness journey, we absolutely cannot wait to throw our doors open once again and welcome you all back!

See you soon!
