National Fitness Day on Wednesday 27th September saw the nation becoming more active when over one million people participated in some form of physical activity across the UK.
Organised each year by ukactive #fitnessdayuk was once again a huge success involving thousands of individuals, groups and facilities across the Nation.
As ever 3-1-5 Health Club in Lancaster celebrated National Fitness Day, by opening its doors to encourage and inspire a healthy, active community.
Class tasters, a Health Fayre and splash activities were just a few of the activities on offer through-out the day at 3-1-5 and the evening programme kicked off with a 5k Run along the River Lune to raise funds for Cancer Care.
Complimentary classes also included taster sessions on exclusive X-Force Strength training equipment and childrens ‘Yolo Yoga’.
At 3-1-5 our aim is to positively change people’s lives and we do this by demonstrating the diversity of our programming and appealing to the masses. We cater for the very young to the Young at Heart, the complete beginner to the inspiring athelete.
Reaching out to celebrate National Fitness Day resulted in a record day of participation and introductions to the club.
The day finished with the clubs first ever ‘Member of the Year Awards’ to give recognition to those members who have gone above and beyond to reach their fitness goals, targets and body transformations.
